Search by name or state and filter by degree. Each card links to the university's official website. Ask us for current fees, deadlines and scholarships for your program.
This directory is a starting point, not a complete list, and a listing does not mean a formal partnership with that university. We can guide you on other accredited US universities too.
Before you choose
Confirm regional accreditation and SEVP approval to issue I-20s.
Tuition plus living costs, fees and health insurance for the full program.
Check if your program is STEM-designated and how practical training works.
International deadlines are often earlier than domestic ones.

A dot means a program at that university starts in that month. "?" means we are still confirming the dates.
Start months differ by program. Application deadlines are usually 2 to 6 months earlier.
Highlights
Classes on campus every week. You live near the university.
Some classes online, plus required days on campus. Missing a required day can put F-1 status at risk.
Work that is part of your program, approved by your DSO. Rules differ by university. Ask before you choose.
The international office and DSO help with I-20, status and travel questions.
A university shown here is not necessarily a formal partner of WorldwideNRI. Admission decisions are made by each university.

About WorldwideNRI
WorldwideNRI (WWNRI) guides students from India, and Indian students already in the US, through choosing a university, applying and getting ready to study in America.
Many students choose a university based on what friends heard, or miss deadlines because no one explained the steps. Families often do not know what a course will really cost. We want every student to make an informed choice, with correct information and a real person to ask.
If you are a university and would like to work with us on recruiting students from India, please write to wwnrican@gmail.com.

Home / Parents
For parents & families
You want your child to be safe, to study at a genuine university, and to spend your money wisely. This guide answers the questions parents ask us most.
Most students start planning 9 to 12 months before the semester begins. The main steps are choosing universities, applying, receiving an admission letter, getting the I-20 form, attending the F-1 visa interview, and travelling. See the six steps and the document checklist.
Before paying any deposit, check three things:
Ask these to anyone helping your child, including us. A trustworthy consultant answers every one clearly.
With your child's agreement, we can include you in key updates: shortlist, admission decisions, I-20 and visa interview dates. Register and mention that a parent would like updates.

Student guides
Short, plain-language guides to the topics students ask about most.
Most universities ask for an English test. Many accept several tests, and some waive the requirement for students taught in English. Common minimums for graduate programs are around:
| Test | Common minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| IELTS Academic | 6.0 – 6.5 | Some programs ask for 7.0 |
| TOEFL iBT | 79 – 80 | Some programs ask for 90 or more |
| Duolingo English Test | 105 – 115 | Taken online, results in a few days |
| PTE Academic | 53 – 58 | Accepted by many, not all, universities |
The GRE (or GMAT for business) is optional at many universities now, but a good score can help with admission and scholarships. Always check the requirement for your exact program.
